Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr gave emphasis on the conduct of the tobacco trading operations in his message to the Operations Group in a virtual meeting on March 2.
He instructed the Branch Office managers to assist the farmers during the trading, ensure that NTA staff assisting the farmers and trading personnel follow the health and safety protocols, and have full coordination with the local government units for the delivery of tobacco to trading areas.
Trading operations officially started in Region 1 on February 15.
The Operations Group meeting was presided by Deputy Administrator for Operations Dr. Roberto R. Bonoan.
