OUTGOING Secretary of Agriculture and Chairman of the NTA Governing Board William D. Dar, PhD presided over the 109th and final Special Board Meeting at the DA Central Office on June 29. Officials presented updates on the agency’s programs and activities, including the ongoing tobacco trading operations, Farm Inputs Voucher Management System, and other tobacco-related concerns.
Dar stepoed down the following day, June 30, with President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. succeeding him as interim DA Secretary.
