The NTA obtained a positive review from the Commission on Audit for the 3rd consecutive year under the leadership of Administrator/CEO Robert Victor Seares Jr.
During an Exit Conference held on May 31, an Audit Team discussed a summary of the findings for Fiscal Year 2021. It reported that the NTA consistently complied with previous audit recommendations and its financial statements appropriately presented and in compliance with the accepted accounting principles.
COA provided further audit observations and recommendations to be implemented within a prescribed period.
For his part, Administrator Seares expressed gratitude for the favorable findings and pledged to ensure continued accountability and adherence to the rules and regulations of the government. He also congratulated the Finance Department, led by Manager Ma. Teresa Laudencia, and its staff for effectively managing the resources of the agency.
