NTA Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. and NTA Cagayan Manager Dr. Corazon R. Riazonda led the inauguration of the NTA Tobacco Farmers Training Building in Tuguegarao City on May 4.
In attendance during the inauguration were Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana, members of the NTA Governing Board Nestor C. Casela, Teofilo R. Quintal, Danilo C. Trongco, and managers of the different Branch Offices and Departments.
Fr. Bernard Corpuz, Parish Priest of Saint Peter Metropolitan Cathedral, blessed the training center that will be used by tobacco growers for tobacco production and livelihood training.
The structure represents a significant enlargement of an NTA compound at 1,267 square meters. It includes an additional space for commercial trading purposes. The facility also houses conference, meeting and study rooms as well as a training hall that can accommodate up to 200 people.
