NTA Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. joined NTA Pangasinan in his regular monitoring visit at the tobacco buying station of Universal Leaf Philippines Inc. in Barangay Carmay East in Rosales, Pangasinan on April 5. Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana, NTA Pangasinan officials headed by Branch Officer-in-Charge Engr. Roger T. Madriaga and some members of the NTA Governing Board joined Administrator Seares in observing the delivery, weighing and grading of Burley.
Before the visit, Administrator Seares met with tobacco farmers from tobacco-producing barangays in San Manuel, Tarlac to discuss tobacco trading and various programs and projects of the agency, held at Barangay San Narciso.
The tobacco growers, who are members of the tobacco block farming in the province, are beneficiaries of facility and livelihood assistance both from the agency and the local government of San Manuel.
Joining the Administrator in the meeting organized by NTA Pangasinan were Deputy Administrator Sambrana, Members of the NTA Governing Board Nestor C. Casela, Teofilo R. Quintal and Jess Pat M. Serna, and NTA Pangasinan Officer-in-Charge Engr. Roger T. Madriaga.
