NTA Administrator and CEO Belinda S. Sanchez administers the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-promoted and appointed employees of the Branch Offices in Cagayan and Isabela and joined the employees in their 2022 Year-End Convocation and Christmas Program in her first official visit in Region 2 on December 28 and 29.
In Cagayan, Administrator Sanchez administered the oath-taking of newly promoted Branch Manager Gilbert A. Taguiam, who now took the helm of the Branch Office as Department Manager III, after six months as officer-in-charge after the retirement of Dr. Corazon R. Riazonda. Joining Taguiam in the oath-taking were Angelica A. Ragasa, Accountant II; and three new extension workers Elimario F. Batang, Jr., Jerwin P. Tapulao and Harold Quilang, all Tobacco Production and Regulation Officer 1 (TPRO I).
Administrator Sanchez also awarded certificates of appreciation to Edna R. Simeon (33 years of continued service to the NTA); Joe Dexter R. Taguinod (outstanding employee – 100% collection on TCGS-NTA Financed Projects for CY 2021-2022 and exemplary contribution to the Search for the Tobacco Grower of the Year Contest, Burley Category); Chelsea Joy R. Danguilan, Orlando B. Arugay and Dennis Dan M. Sacramento (outstanding employees – 100% collection on IFOIGAP- Corn Wet Season 2022); and Dennis Dan M. Sacramento (exemplary contribution to the Search for the Tobacco Grower of the Year Contest, Cigar Filler Category).
In Isabela, Administrator Sanchez swore in newly promoted staff: Perpetuo C. Dalloran, from Supervising TPRO to Chief Agriculturist; and Lagrimas B. Beltran, from TPRO III to Senior TPRO; and newly appointed staff Mona Krisel C. Garrido, Cashier III; Gelre John R. Tagapan, Agriculturist 1; and Marjory L. Basa, Emer C. Hernandez and Fericel C. Batnag, all TPRO I.
She also presented certificates of appreciation to the loyalty awardees: Branch Manager Joefrey T. Bautista (35 years of service); Lagrimas B. Beltran (33 years); Gavina C. Domingo (32 years); Perpetuo C. Dalloran (23 years); Leah M. Ramones (15 years), Lorelie B. Figarola (14 years) and Rodolfo M. Perdito (20 years of service as Job Order employee); efficiency awardees: Christopher D. Queddeng, 1st Place; Fericel C. Batnag, 2nd Place; and Edgar A. Lagasca, 3rd Place; and the outstanding branch employees: Lagrimas B. Beltran for operations, Lorelie B. Figarola for Admin and Finance, and Jeremy Karl C. Rodriguez for Job Order employees.
The year-ending activities of the Cagayan and Isabela Branch Offices were held at the NTA Tobacco Farmers Training Centers in Tuguegarao City and Ilagan City, respectively.
